Gregory Vilner

While serving as a California State Peace Officer, Gregory Vilner supervised Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, and J.C. Simon, who orchestrated the infamous “Zebra” killings by the Death Angels. He has applied his intricate knowledge of law enforcement to author several books on policies and procedures for jails, prisons, and police departments. In addition to a Masters Degree from Columbia Southern University and a PhD in Administration, Vilner is a certified pilot, a dive master, and a second-degree black belt in Karate. He currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he helped facilitate the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center and the Okmulgee Criminal Justice Authority Police Department and Jail.
